Special Educational Needs
Our workshops are run by BBB musicians who have experience of working in Special Schools, Adult Education and Day Centres. The workshops are inclusive, friendly and welcoming and can be adapted to suit your needs.
Our workshops are designed to help children and young people reach their full musical potential; the sessions include musical games, singing, playing percussion and playing a simple arrangement of a Bollywood tune. We work on listening skills, responding to aural and visual cues and on playing together as a group.
Participants will have the opportunity to listen intimately to drums, wind and brass instruments and to play along with BBB musicians. We can also show visually stimulating Bollywood film and dance.
By the end of the workshop our aim is to be able to play an arrangement of a Bollywood tune altogether. We can supply specially adapted instruments, or you can use your own.
