The Trashcatcher's BallArtists from EEA and Project Phakama will be working at the London International Festival of Theatre to create 'The Trash Catcher’s Ball'. During a residency at the Brian Didsbury Centre in Newham throughout June, artists will be working with 20 young people recruited from local colleges and employment schemes. The residency will then be extended to Stratford Park where the LIFT structure - a travelling architectural tent, will be in place. During the week the LIFT is operational EEA will be creating the Trash Catcher’s Ball on the site, with performances, giant costumes and sculptures, music and pyrotechnics, with everything made out of trash. |
