The London Mela
EEA's continuing association with the London Mela at Gunnersbury Park will result in the EEA/Magic Mela site, which is being produced and curated by the company this year.
EEA's flagship band The Bollywood Brass Band will be parading around the site at 5pm and will also be playing on the cabaret stage at 7.30

A delightful, interactive area for children and all the family. Emergency Exit Arts create a special environment with sea and jungle creatures and all the wonders of the natural world. Youngsters and the young at heart experience the magic of stories, dance, creative play and a great deal of fun!

Follow the treasure map, visit the Pearl Island of Stories and experience the flavour of S. Asia. Sri Lankan storyteller, Debbie Guneratne, will take you on a journey where you will discover the story of the first sari, how the pearl of the Indian Ocean obtained all its wonderful jewels, who visited Sri lanka from Paradise, how Singapore came to be and how the Topiwallah tricked the monkeys.

Learn something new and something traditional in the interactive arts area where you can get crafty with an assortment of materials to make hats, banners, puppets and fans inspired by the stories from the Pearl Island. Join in with the creation of a giant fishy Rangoli floor pattern.
Experience the unique arts and crafts of Balochistan.
Plus special appearances from Nutkhut's larger than life characters and the world famous Bollywood Brass Band will lead a spectacular children's parade around the London Mela during the afternoon.
