Runga Rung: The Colour Of ColoursRunga Rung is a dynamic performance featuring pyrotechnics, Bollywood dance routines, a mechanical elephant and an incredible human Catherine wheel. Its next performance is in West Bletchley, where the Parish Council has commissioned EEA to engage local artists, (including 'Festive Roads') residents and visitors in a programme of workshops and projects (world music, dance, street/ circus performances, making 2d and 3d imagery) over a one month period. On 17th November this will culminate in a procession through West Bletchley and a performance 'Runga Rung' - a dynamic fusion of British urban life, contemporary British Asian culture, Indian traditions, carnival and fiesta. "..something less tangible occured, something inside touched by an experience of communitas, of provocation, of ritual and festival. A sense of The Arts keeping faith with the enjoyment of creative action for its own sake, for the intrinsic quality which gives people a sense of being alive!" Arts At The Heart - The NALGAO magazine , about Runga Rung in Bournemouth
