The Colour of Colours

A large scale spectacular show with procession and fireworks – suitable for a maximum audience of 10,000
The Colour of Colours, is a dynamic fusion of traditions from the Indian diaspora with contemporary British Asian and global urban culture. During Diwali the performance can be adapted to feature characters inspired by the well-loved Ramayana story with a romance, an abduction and a fiery battle.

The Colour of Colours starts as a dynamic street parade with its own unique soundtracks on mobile stages, amazing pyrotechnic performers on the street, a wondrous steel elephant and Bollywood dancers on a mobile movie screen.

The audience follow the procession through the streets to the final point where all elements of the performance come together for a rousing finale. The interplay between characters and their different qualities are accentuated by evocative multi-coloured lighting, breath-taking pyrotechnic effects and our incredible Human Catherine Wheel.
