Commissioned by Newham Council, EEA artists have been facilitating arts workshops with 13 schools and 5 youth and community groups in Newham to create costumes, dances and music for the carnival.

On the day EEA will lead the parade with its mechanical menagerie of gigantic creatures, including a 5 metre high Fire Bird, a giant turtle and a bejewelled egg through the streets of the borough in a colourful costume parade.
