EEA’s Street Arts Academy is Recruiting

STREET ARTS ACADEMY (SAA): working with young people across London and the UK to make creative interventions in public spaces. Rothbury Hall, Azof Street, Greenwich, London SE10 0EF are currently recruiting for new members of The Street Arts Academy to take part in our monthly workshops and Easter programme in Greenwich.

Combining Visual and Performing Arts, SAA works with 14-21 year olds from across London, the UK and Europe to make unexpected art moments/events/performances/installations happen in the spaces in which they live, learn, work and play.

If you are interested in developing your creative skills and exploring how visual and performing arts can be used to make great things happen in public spaces then this is the perfect opportunity for you.

All workshops are FREE but places need to be booked in advance.

Saturday sessions: 15th February + 22nd march 2014 between 12-4pm *

Easter programme: Thursday 17th, Friday 18th and Saturday 19th April from 10 – 5pm*

Design, Rehearse and Activate a piece of outdoor art for the unsuspecting public in Greenwich-

Whatever we create will be explored in public spaces around Greenwich on Saturday 19th April

* All workshops will be held at EEA, Rothbury Hall, Azof Street, Greenwich, London SE10 0EF but may involve exploring near by public spaces for inspiration or performance/ installation sites.
