Blackfriars Stories: Waves of Wonder

EEA presents WAVES OF WONDER is a spectacular mass participatory event, with a particular focus on spotlighting and celebrating historical moments that connect to the theme of wonder and wellbeing, including a lantern procession led by our giant mechanical turtle, weaving its way through the streets of Southwark and culminating in Mint Street Park for a family disco finale! Free festive fun for all the family!

The parade on Friday 6 December starts at 4.30pm, Peabody Square, Blackfriars Estate, Southwark SW1 8HU.

The family disco with pyro sparkle finish is at Mint Street Park at 6pm.

This event is supported by the Illuminated River Foundation Community Fund.

No advance booking is required.
